PLUNA - Where are its CRJ-900's now ?

With all 13 PLUNA CRJ-900's grounded since the airline's shutdown, one reader of this blog recently asked where are they currently located ?

The editor of the excellent Uruguayan aviation blog, Martin Blanco, informed me two weeks ago that all of the planes were parked in front of the old passenger terminal at Montevideo's Carrasco International Airport (MVD).  They are presumably still there since nothing has changed in their status since then.

With all of the CRJ-900's idle, the Uruguayan government continues to accumulate debt and lease payments on the fleet of leased and owned aircraft.
