FLEET UPDATE: First Sol CRJ-200 arrives at Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE)

Sol Lineas Aereas' first CRJ-200 arrived at Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) yesterday, 21Sep15.  The aircraft is, as identified in a previous post, the ex-Air Nostrum airframe EC-IVH (c/n 7915). It departed Valencia (VLC) Spain on 20Sep15 and routed via Nelson Mandela International Airport (RAI), Santiago Island, Cape Verde plus presumably somewhere in Brazil after crossing the Atlantic.

Still wearing its Spanish registration, the aircraft will presumably receive an Argentine registration prior to its entry into service in Sol's new role as an Aerolineas Argentinas / Austral feeder airline in October.  Sol is due to receive five more CRJ-200's from Air Nostrum over the next six months.

  1. I appreciate the new Austral feeder agreement....but I am so disappointed that it will not carry Sol's livery.

    1. The Austral colors look nice bit I agree that keeping the Sol livery would have maintained some more variety in Argentine skies.
