ROUTE UPDATE: Norwegian Air UK started LCC transatlantic service between London Gatwick (LGW) and Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE)

Norwegian Air UK started Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) service from London Gatwick (LGW) to Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) on 14Feb18 with its first flight DI7505 arriving at EZE at 9:14am this morning with its inaugural northbound flight DI7606 departing EZE to LGW at 1:39pm this afternoon.  

The flight was also a first for the aircraft operating the service, 787-9 G-CKOF (c/n 38786/662), as it performed its first revenue service for Norwegian, having been delivered to the airline just last week on 06Feb18.       

Norwegian Air UK will operate four round-trip weekly flights between LGW and EZE.

Norwegian Airlines announced today the introduction of its new low-fare service between Argentina and the UK:  

* London Gatwick (LGW) - Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) - eff 14Feb18

The new flights will link the two cities 4x/weekly using 787-9's equipped with 344 seats, 35 in Premium Economy and 309 in Economy operated by its Norwegian Air UK division.  Passengers will be able to connect at London Gatwick (LGW) with Norwegian flights to 38 destinations in 11 European countries.

Norwegian Air UK currently operates two 787-9 with one on order.
