FLEET UPDATE: Former Aerolineas Argentinas 737-200's and 747-287's stored outdoors at Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE)

Aerolineas Argentinas has used the end of a closed runway at Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE) for storage of retired aircraft for several years with nine 737-200's and six 747-287B's currently parked there.   

Aircraft include some of the first 747-287B's that Aerolineas took delivery of in the late 1970's and early 1980's, such as:

LV-MLR (c/n 21727/404) delivered to AR on 26Oct79

LV-OOZ (c/n 22592/532) delivered to AR on 26Aug81

LV-OPA (c/n 22593/552) delivered to AR on 23Jan82
