FLEET UPDATE: Flybondi's fourth 737-800, LV-HQY, arrived at Cordoba (COR) at 7:05pm
Flybondi's fourth 737-800, LV-HQY (c/n 34406/1852), arrived at Cordoba (COR) on its delivery flight at 7:05pm this evening.
The aircraft was originally delivered to Turkish Airlines in 2006 where it flew until it was stored in November 2017. It was turned over to Flybondi on 12Apr18 and flown to Montpellier France (MPL) where its interior was modified into Flybondi's 189-seat configuration. Yesterday, 11May18, LV-HQY departed Montpellier (MPL) on its delivery flight to Cordoba (COR) via Sal Island Cape Verde (SID) and Salvador de Bahia (SSA).
LV-HQY will add additional capacity to Flybondi's fleet allowing the carrier to introduce new service to Posadas (PSS) on 15May18 and Bahia Blanca (BHI) on 30May18.
